Pi Day is Next Monday 3/14/16!

Are you excited for Pi Day? I love sharing this festive Math holiday with my Math students every year. Here is a Math Stations activity JUST for Pi Day! It's No PREP, easy to print & GO!



This math station activity is intended to help students understand Pi in its relation to the world and mathematics. Students will learn the history of Pi, the formulas associated with Pi for circumference and area, and other key concepts.

Included are:

-6 different stations to engage students

-Teacher facilitated activity for 60-90 minutes of classroom time

-Stations include:
1. Vocabulary of Pi
2. Practice of Finding Circumference with Pi
3. Word problems of Finding Circumference with Pi
4. Practice of Finding Area with Pi
5. The History of Pi
6. Word problems of Finding Area with Pi

-Student Mini Book of Pi helps students record their answers
