Math Stations: Adding & Subtracting Integers

I'm loving these new stations I have finally put together. Every year I have "makeshift" stations in my classroom, but I've never organized them so I just pull whatever is in a file folder out. Well this year I've decided to organize ALL of my stations and share them with you! Today I posted a new Common Core Math Stations Activity on Teachers Pay Teachers titled "Math Stations: Adding & Subtracting Integers".

This math station activity is intended to help students understand how to apply and extend previous understandings of addition and subtraction to rational numbers, describing situations in which opposite quantities combine, and showing that a number and its opposite have a sum of 0. Interpret sums of rational numbers by describing real world contexts. Students will also understand the additive inverse, apply properties of operations as strategies, and solve real-world problems with rational numbers.
