New Lesson Plan: Percents, Fractions, and Decimals

Today I posted a new Common Core Lesson Plan on Teachers Pay Teachers titled "Percents, Fractions, and Decimals".

This lesson unit is intended to help you assess how well students are able to identify equivalent percents, fractions, and decimals.

Included in this lesson are:

-one formative assessment (pre-test) task

-card sort activity with concept development of percents, fractions, and decimals

-one extension activity for students to deepen their conception of percents

-one summative assessment (post-test) task

-answer keys for all the assessments and activities

-how the lesson is tied to common core and mathematical practices

New Lesson Plan: Substitute Teacher Lesson Plan

Today I posted a new lesson plan titled "Substitute Teacher Lesson Plan" on Teachers Pay Teachers.

This lesson plan template is a Word Document that is changeable for your classroom criteria. You can easily use it to keep substitute teachers on track with your classes for the day. Included is an area for the substitute teacher to reflect on each of the classes. This is a great lesson plan template for middle and high school teachers to use.
