9 Strategies for Surviving the Last 9 Weeks of School

I'm starting a blog series today to help get you through the last 9 weeks of school! I know, only 9?!? You can see the finish line, and hopefully these helpful strategies can get you there with a little less stress!

Tip #1: Stay Organized!
My best piece of advice for achieving this is to come to school early and leave with the students when the bell rings. What? Yes you read this right. LEAVE with the students. Staying late never accomplishes much plus you will be fresh in the morning and ready to take on the day then! If you start the day off right you won't have to be there after the students leave. I always plan in the morning and plan for a couple days ahead for lessons and copies. Here are some of the lifesavers I use to stay organized.

1.) Teacher Planner: This helps me to visualize what is going to happen in my classroom and what tasks I need to accomplish daily. Click HERE to view: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Editable-Weekly-Monthly-School-Planners-2017028

2.) Absent Students: This tool helps students who are absent easily get back on track. All you have to do is go to the copy machine once a nine weeks! I love this system and it helps keep my room organized and students never miss a beat. Click HERE to view: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/While-You-Were-Out-Makeup-Work-Forms-1471927

3.) Copies are made ahead and organized: This one is tricky because you need to have them in 48 hours in advance for someone else to copy them or you stand there for at least 15 minutes copying them yourself and waste precious time. I use an organization system in my classroom to keep them neat, tidy, and timely! Click HERE to view: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Labels-to-Organize-Bright-Stripes-742208

4.) Parent Conferences: End on a strong note with your parents! Here is a great easy 1 page form to use when planning on having a parent conference.  Print and prepare ahead of time. You will be organized and ready to help out students and parents easily! Click HERE to view:
